Q. Exactly how much money are we trying to raise in this campaign?
A. The total project will cost about $ 200,000.00. Of this amount $ 116,000.00 has already been given. Therefore our goal for the campaign is $136,000.00. “Renovating the Church” will become reality through faith promises given on a weekly or monthly basis over the twelve month period from Sunday July 20, 2008 – June 21, 2009.
Q. When is commitment Sunday?
A. We held commitment Sunday on July 13, 2008 to symbolize the beginning of a ONE YEAR COMMITMENT to this project. But it's never too late to make a commitment to be a part of this awesome vision!
Q. When do our faith promises start and when do they end?
A. On the last Sunday of June 2009 we will celebrate the completion of the project with a final faith promise offering.
Q. Where will faith promises be made?
A. Most faith promises will be made in your own home after prayerful consideration. No one will call or visit you to receive your faith promise. You will be given the opportunity to present your faith promise during the AM Services on Sundays.
Q. Can we make a family faith promise?
A. Yes.
Q. How do we make our gifts toward “Phase 2: Renovating the Church”
A. You may use a “Fulfilling Our Vision” offering envelope located in each pew and put your faith promise in any of the regular offerings, or you may give your faith promise in the monthly “Fulfilling Our Vision” offering on the third Sunday of each month of the campaign.
You may also contribute online to Fulfilling Our Vision “Phase 2” by noting the following information on the Payment Manager or Bill Pay option on your bank account web site. Central Bible Church, 1300 SW 87th Avenue, Miami, Fl 33174.
Q. Do you think God will help me meet a faith promise that right now seems beyond my means?
A. Just as surely as the Lord helps us in any other area of life. The Lord will not speak something to you that He is not able to supply.
Q. Can I give in honor of a loved one?
A. Yes. All memorial Faith Promises will be noted in the renovation.
